Hi! I'm MĂ©lynaÂ
I'm a self-taught artist from Québec City who has been painting since 2016. My artistic style is colorful, abstract, and semi-abstract. Behind each painting lies an idea, a proposal that everyone can interpret in their own way. I like to play with bright, vibrant colors, creating fluid, dynamic, and mesmerizing works.
My artistic influences are diverse. I take inspiration from my life experiences and many travels. Energy, nature, and the cosmos are essential sources of inspiration, helping me expand my vision and create something greater than myself.
Since 2019, I've participated in numerous exhibitions and art fairs in the Québec region. In recent years, my work has been collected mainly in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Behind my paintings lies the desire to convey a message, a thought, an emotion. I wish to offer my collectors a moment of creativity and interpretation, allowing them to discover the message her works hold for them.

This course is divided into 5 modules, with 5 hours of guided lessons and hands-on practice. You will have access to full-length painting demonstrations that you can pause, replay, and follow entirely at your own pace.
The lessons unfold step by step. We begin with the essentials, including materials, color harmony, and paint preparation, then gradually move into creating your own fluid artworks using a variety of techniques and backgrounds.

Let’s begin your creative journey! In this first module, you’ll get to know me, explore what fluid art is all about, and discover what you’ll learn throughout the course. I’ll walk you through the materials and setup you’ll need to start creating comfortably from home. By the end of this module, you’ll be fully prepared and inspired to begin your first pour.

Materials and Preparation
Before we dive into painting, we’ll explore the essentials: from choosing the right acrylics, mediums, and canvases to understanding the ideal paint ratios. You’ll also learn how to prepare your workspace and practice eco-friendly habits so your art and process feel as mindful as they are creative.
Module 3
Mixing & Pouring
Now the magic begins! In this module, you’ll learn how to mix your paints to achieve the perfect flow and consistency. I’ll show you how to pour and layer your colors so they move beautifully across the surface. This is where you start to feel the rhythm of fluid art; balancing control and spontaneity.
Module 4
Let's create!
It’s time to bring your paintings to life. Through step-by-step demonstrations, we’ll create three different abstract pieces: one on a white background, one on a black background, and one inspired by flowing waves.
Each exercise helps you understand how color, movement, and texture come together and how to let your intuition guide the process.
Module 5
Explore the Potential
Your artwork doesn’t end when the paint dries. In this final module, we’ll explore the drying process, varnishing techniques, and creative ways to care for and enhance your finished pieces. You’ll also learn how to keep experimenting, discovering new techniques, and letting your creativity continue to flow long after the course ends.
